Media should be used responsibly. No amount of hate, fabricated information, or dishonest reporting about me—or anyone else—will change my stance, my values, or who I truly am. I will not allow others to define me by the person they want to portray me as.
Some individuals who have recently posted false and misleading information about me on social media, as well as others involved in these matters, are also connected to ongoing defamation lawsuits. That context should not be ignored when evaluating the claims being made.
Islamophobia, dishonest journalism, and propaganda do not serve this country. They create division, fear, and hatred. That does not make us stronger—it makes us weaker.
I will continue to stand by the truth, my principles, and the person I know myself to be. No false narrative, propaganda, or attempt to misrepresent me will change who I am or what I stand for.
